Why Mesh Coffee with Politics?

Why Mesh Coffee with Politics?

This question can't be answered without first asking why does anyone do what they do?  Why does someone decide to become a doctor?  Why do people change careers in their 30s at a high rate?  Why do some many college graduates fail to gameplan their future with confidence?

The answer is simple.  Human beings are complex.  Our relationships and our experiences have layers upon layers.  The way we navigate develops over time and our wisdom grows with our experiences.  This mess of a calculation makes life the wild ride that it is.

My own wild ride took me down many paths.  I suffered through a decade of realizing what a sunk cost truly means despite learning about it in depth in college.  I learned about motivation, distraction.  I learned to let dreams die, so that others may thrive.  I learned that the death of dream is part of a death of a past version of ourselves.  I learned that the loved ones we share will cherish not only the versions of ourselves that are no longer us, but also the versions we are today and those to come.  They love us for us and all the iterations along the way.

Why do I mesh politics and coffee?  Because I love both and I want to be honestly and openly myself.  I want to fight for what is important because in my heart I am a fighter.  I am a disruptor.  I revel in the act of seeking truth and find joy in expanding my ability to share that truth with others.

Logically, coffee or any product should be more successful if it is alignment with your values.  I hope to meet many great people in alignment with my values and enjoy a cup or two along the way.  This is a fun journey and I hope to only increase the value I personally give to others and through that gift to others, also give to myself.

Thanks for being a part of my journey!
