Why Donald Trump and Why Not Ron DeSantis?

Why Donald Trump and Why Not Ron DeSantis?

I support Donald Trump full stop.  However, I want to outline why supporting Trump is important for who I am as an American and what I stand for.  In 2023, in this political climate, there is an intensity and an importance that has only continued to bubble up.  For years and years, it has felt like we are approaching a more and more critical point in time.  I don't believe this feeling is incorrect, but how this pot bubbles over is to be determined.  What I do know is a handful of general large facts that taken from a birds eye view paint a picture that is hard to positively reconcile with a path other than Donald J Trump.

First and foremost I love America, I love the land, I love the people, I love the animals, I love the weather, and I love each and every one of you.  We have to start with love to understand why there needs to be a sense of urgency.  When what we love is threatened, we need to act.  People can criticize what they want about Trump, but if you look back at his public record on his love for America for decades, he has been consistent.  His ego maybe a little too large, his grandiose nature maybe a little off putting, but his love for America is intertwined with this ego and grandiose nature, that it oozes patriotism in a way that is hard to turn away from.  This is good because it is patriotism from the place of love.  Trump truly does love America and that is something many politicians say but few truly emulate.

The path of the politician is a path that attracts the worst of humanity.  There are exceptions to this rule, typically these exceptions start on a different path and turn to politics once life has shown them a purpose and desire to help.  This is often before they are jaded by the truth of the system we live in.  The truth is that our system is corrupt as are most government systems or any systems for that matter which can have absolute power over others.  True laissez faire market powers create an environment where it is difficult to have absolute power because when something resembling absolute power exists, it is fleeting.  There is always something around the corner to sweep the rug out from anyone or anything attempting to rule unjustly and against the invisible hand.  With government, controls and agreements are made to ensure absolute power remains absolute.  This doesn't mean various parties wont be able to chip away and win small battles here and there, but it does mean the path of progress is tainted to become a path of servitude.  Some exemplary individuals like Ron Paul (started as a medical doctor) and Donald Trump (started in real estate) found the path to politics due to this calling.  Others on the left exist too, whom feel an honest desire to help.  Unfortunately, the hand that helps the weak often dooms the weak to the very life politicians are trying to save them from.  This is the bleeding heart problem.  The road to hell is paved with good intentions.  Not enough Americans truly understand this phrase.  If we did there would be a lot more emphasis on hard truth.  But if we go back to start, back to the worst of humanity, we have bulk of Washington DC.  We have people with decades of experience making $100kish a year yet worth 100 million dollars, we have a laundry list of the most influential people with their names written in Epstein's black book yet protected from the eyes of the common folk to continue their sick and twisted fantasy's at the expense of our children.  Evil in its truest form is the career politician, the person who seeks power for the pleasure of power and only for power.  Please don't confuse this for seeking success which can be admirable when done through self reflection, self criticism, and eventually self improvement.  Again Trump has his ego, but it is not his guiding principal as the media would have you believe.  His guiding principal is once again love and his ego provides him the strength to rebel against the true evil in politics, the true evil of government itself.

Ron DeSantis has shown to be an excellent Governor.  He has protected those that he governs.  He has increased freedoms.  He has protected children from being sexualized.  He has stood his ground when 49 other governors refuse to stiffen their spines.  However, the old phrase, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" is one I often come back to.  While DeSantis is the enemy of my enemey, he has become less so as of recently.  The Republican's in Name Only (RINOs) and the left including as far up the line as George Soros himself want DeSantis to be the nominee.  They loath Trump.  Trump is the truest enemy of my enemy.  These individuals whom now call for DeSantis make up the evil I mentioned prior, the worst of humanity, and this evil wants to pull itself as far away from Trump like a vampire retracting from the sunlight.  This fact of is the most important fact that should be considered for anyone voting for the future of America.  Look who hates Trump, the 15% approval rated Congress, the talking heads from legacy media on life support from contracts with mega cable, contracts with pharma, and most importantly contracts with the same corrupt congress.  Evil is feeding evil to keep the truth from the individual.  All indicators point to tell me that Trump is the worst, and that gives me all the confidence in the world that regardless of his sins, he is the best chance we have at this moment in history.

There may be a time when DeSantis has his place.  It may be that the support for him is only due to the swamps desire to have a lesser of two goods to fight against.  The actions are the source of DeSantis' strength and his actions have been admirable, but today we need Trump.  We need to put our best foot forward, Donald J. Trump.
